Enjoy two weeks at Busch Gardens. You'll participate in ThrillVentures and ZooVentures, and explore the Tampa Bay area for two days in between.

ThrillVentures
Are you a theme park fan? If so, this camp will deliver lots of twists and turns just for you. Learn the insider tips into designing and building amazing coasters and then buckle up to enjoy the most intense coaster rides, including SheiKra, Montu and Cheetah Hunt at Busch Gardens. Expect the extreme at Busch Gardens, SeaWorld and Aquatica!

Zooventures
If animals are your passion, this is the camp for you. Investigate the animal kingdom and all its diversity. Go on a quest to find native Florida wildlife along the Hillsborough River. Discover the interconnections between animals while feeding giraffes and searching for zebras across the Serengeti Plain. Plus, enjoy all the fun and adventure of Busch Gardens and Adventure Island.

XtremeVentures is a 12-night long camp which begins at 12:00 PM Saturday morning Week 1 and ends promptly Thursday morning at 9:00 AM Week 2. 

Zookeeping - the Series

Grades 10-12

Enjoy two weeks at Busch Gardens. You'll participate in Zookeeping 101, Zookeeping 201, and explore the Tampa Bay area for two days in between.

Zookeeping 101: Assist zookeepers with their daily routine that includes preparing diets, animal training and providing veterinary care. Experience first–hand what it takes to care for a variety of exotic animals from giraffe to hippos to lemurs. Plus, enjoy all the thrilling rides and world-class shows at Busch Gardens and cool off at Adventure Island. 

Zookeeping 201: Take zookeeping to the next level. Experience real-life, hands-on animal care at one of the nation's largest zoos. Work alongside expert zookeepers, observe animal training methods and engage in up-close animal encounters. Plus, enjoy all that Busch Gardens and SeaWorld have to offer.

Zookeeping The Series is a 12-night long camp which begins at 12:00 PM Saturday morning Week 1 and ends promptly Thursday morning at 9:00 AM Week 2.

Zookeeping Intensive

Grades 11-College

For a more in-depth zoological experience spend two weeks at Busch Gardens. You'll participate in Zookeeping 201 and Zoo Careers, and explore Tampa Bay area for 2 days in between.  

Zookeeping 201:
Experience real-life, hands-on animal care at one of the nation's largest zoos. Work alongside expert zookeepers, observe animal training methods and engage in up-close animal encounters. Plus, enjoy all that Busch Gardens and SeaWorld have to offer.

Zoo Careers:
This is an intense exploration into working with animals including everything from scrubbing and raking, to preparing animal diets and so much more. Gain insight into managing a world-class zoological facility with opportunities to interact with zoo staff and receive valuable career guidance. Participants work behind the scenes daily, under the guidance of professional zookeepers, attend training workshops and even prepare a special project. This is your chance to "sample" a zoo career!

Careers Intensive

For College Students

Enjoy two weeks at Busch Gardens. You'll participate in Zoo Careers, Vet Careers, and explore the Tampa Bay area for 2 days in between.

Vet Careers: Aspiring to become a professional in veterinary healthcare? Join our veterinary staff and experience veterinary medicine firsthand. Shadow staff on rounds, participate in labs and professional development classes, and even observe procedures. Campers work behind the scenes to explore what being on a veterinary team at a world-class zoo is all about. After hours, enjoy all that Busch Gardens and SeaWorld have to offer.

Careers In-depth is a 12-night long camp which begins at 12:00 PM Saturday morning Week 1 and ends promptly Thursday morning at 9:00 AM Week 2.
